Leland is one of HHQ’s founding members. Date of Birth: August 20 Wife: Brenda - Married November 22, 1980 Children: Dawn is substitute teaching in several school districts while pursuing a full time teaching position in elementary education. Heather is pursuing a Master’s degree from Iowa State University. Ryan is currently attending Full Sail University pursuing his career of choice which is Front of House Engineer. Ryan will graduate from Full Sail University November, 25 2008. Kaitlin is a Senior at Prairie City - Monroe High School. Justin is the newest member of the Hall family, born on January 14, 2005.

Leland is the oldest of two children born to Bernard and Mary Jo Hall of rural Stuart, Iowa. He attended Jefferson Center Methodist Church and then the Congregational Church of Stuart until he went off to college. He became a Christian at Lay Witness meetings held in the Jefferson Center Methodist Church he had attended. Leland started singing for others when his mother got him and his sister to sing at showers and other functions.

Leland is a 1978 Graduate of Stuart-Menlo High School in Stuart, Iowa. He met his wife of 25 years between his freshman and sophomore years while attending Northwestern College in Roseville, Minnesota.

Leland is very thankful for all the support the group has received, beginning with his wife and family. The group’s activities are taking more and more of his time.

Music has always been a part of Leland’s life whether it was singing in the choir or playing the trombone in high school or college, or singing with the quartet. When he’s not involved with HHQ’s activities, Leland loves to go camping with his family, do carpentry, spend time with friends, and work on his house.

We believe that God has called us to minister the Word in song whereever He opens the door for us to do so.
